That is why we constantly improve our manufacturing, waste disposal and recycling activities with a systematic environmental management approach, under the supervision of our Environment and Safety team. In the framework of our "Zero Environmental Accident" policy, we keep all our processes under control.
It is of great importance to us to reduce our energy consumption in manufacturing, for reducing the greenhouse gas impact. In this regard, between 2017 and 2019, we reduced our energy consumption from 2,296 terajoules to 2,131 terajoules. Reduction in our energy consumption and improvement of our manufacturing techniques brought us the ISO 14001 certificate for our Pyeongtaek, Wonju, and Iksan facilities.
