The ASCC system makes highway driving both more comfortable and safer for drivers. This technology measures the speed of the vehicle ahead as well as the distance to it and automatically sets the vehicle's speed. This way, long highway drives, where the driver's attention may be distracted over time, are becoming much safer and more comfortable.
The ASCC system detects the position and speed of the vehicle ahead, thanks to its front radar. Running in integration with the vehicle's acceleration and brake systems, the ASCC system ensures a safe distance to the vehicle ahead.
It constantly checks the distance to the vehicle ahead. When the distance to the vehicle ahead reduces below the safe stopping distance due to the cruising speed, it is automatically activated and reduces the vehicle's speed until the safe distance is reached. If the distance to the vehicle ahead is over the safe stopping distance, it allows the vehicle to accelerate up to the fixed speed value set.

Most of these accidents are caused by the fact that many drivers lose focus due to low environmental stimuli in a monotonous driving environment. The ASCC system minimizes the probability of accidents that may occur due to lack of attention on highways where vehicles are at high speeds, ensuring a much safer and more comfortable driving experience.
