HL Mando, a representative company in the domestic auto parts industry, is aggressively responding to the era of future cars based on its solid basics. It is also seeking new businesses from a long-term perspective to enhance technological competitiveness by establishing a subsidiary in the autonomous driving sector.
At the last CES 2023, HL Mando also introduced the ‘e-Corner Module’, an electrification system that integrates steering, suspension products and vehicle driving motors. The e-corner module is capable of parallel (perpendicular) parking and U-turn in place, so it can be installed in large and small vehicles as well as delivery robots. It is expected to be highly utilized for PBV (Purpose Based Mobility) to be commercialized in the future.
HL Mando plans to increase the proportion of future car parts sales from 25.3% this year to 37.4% by 2027. HL Mando plans to present solutions that increase mileage through weight reduction, reduce the use of environmental pollutants, and maximize the use of vehicle design and interior space. At the same time, it is actively expanding new business parts, such as developing robots that can be used for parking and patrol.
