High investments from the Halla Group to Turkey

In addition to the automotive industry, the Halla Group carries out activities in many other areas. These include, for example, shipbuilding, education and sports. The Halla Group has now signed a large investment in Turkey. 

We expect that our company will added great value to our country and that all automotive parts which Mando produces will be sold to other regions via Turkey. The company's primary goal is to earn $ 200 million. Halla Corporation's CEO, Anıl Yücetürk, says that the company's sales target is $ 1 billion within 5 years. 

The operations of the company include activities regarding Europe, Russia, Afrika, Middle east and Middle asia. This giant structuring will be managed directly by Turkey. 

The Halla Group, which has a world-famous position in the sector, has been performing various activities since 1962. These include the shipbuilding, the construction, the education and the sports industry. Now the Halla Group signed another investment in Turkey. 

Maysan Mando, the first and biggest manufacturer of suspension systems, founded their contributor named Mando Corporation. The Halla Group, which is connected to Mando Corporation, realize the founding of Halla Corporation Europe in Turkey. 

Halla Corporation Europe started at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and will have an important part in the world at the time of the sale of products for the aftermarket. 

1 billion dollars will be managed directly by Turkey 

The operations of the company include activities regarding Europe, Russia, Afrika, Middle east and Middle Asia. Therefore, our company works as a main center of the sales network. The CEO of the company is Anıl Yücetük. He is also the managing director of Maysan Mando. 

At the opening of Halla Corporation Europe, Anıl Yücetürk said that it is a great pleasure that Turkey has won such a large investment. He also emphasizes that the sales target for the next 5 years is $ 1 billion.

Yücetürk : ’’We will expand our borders’’ 

Yücetürk shared the details of the Halla Corporation Europe investment and said:’’ First of all, I wish that such a large investment on a global level would be beneficial for our country. As a company, we have a $ 1 billion sales target within 5 years. Our aim is to build 12 branches and warehouses in 3 main regions. This company will operate 90% export oriented. Mando Corporation has 26 manufacturing sites, 13 research and development centers, 7 sales offices and 7 vehicle test sites worldwide. The Halla Group is one of the largest companies in South Korea and the world. Mando, a subsidiary of the Halla Group, has sales of $ 7 billion and is one of the major suppliers to the world's top 10 automotive brands. Mando is also a large group of companies which manufacture 4th generation devices using autonomous vehicle technologies. Maysan is a company which is 50 percent a partner in Turkey. This year, we are celebrating Maysan Mando's 50th birthday. If I want to send you some good news, Maysan Mando has made a $ 30 million investment in Bursa in his 50th year. Halla Corporation Europe will play a key role in the distribution of Mando's global automotive systems to regional markets. With this investment, which we consider to be very important, we will expand our limits as a group. Despite the global decline in the automotive industry, we will continue to take responsibility for the development of our country and the industry. With the new investments, we will make an important contribution to employment and the economy." 

The CEO of Halla Holding Kyeong Sun Choi:’’ We trust Turkey’’ 

The CEO of Halla Holding Kyeong Sun Choi expressed his pleasure regarding the signing such a beautiful cooperation. Choi emphazizes that they employ 15 thousand people with 20 billion dollars and say:’’With the name Maysan Mando, we realized a partnership in previous years. After this partnership we achieve this new investment. This investment has increased our confidence in Turkey. With this investment which we have made for the automotive renewal market, we will make a difference against our competitors. As different from our competitors, our European operation will be the first company which will manage this investment from Turkey. I wish that our newly established company will be beneficial for both friendly countries.’’ İn the last part of his speech, Kyeong Sun Choi expressed his confidence in Turkey. He also emphasizes that the company aims to realize new investment plans in other areas like logistics and construction. 

İTO President Avdagic:’’ An investment that allows Turkey to make money’’ 

The chairman of the board of the İstanbul Chamber of Commerce named Şekib Avdagiç speaks at the ceremony:’’ The fact that Halla Group will invest in our country will be extremely beneficial for our country, which also has a very important position in the automotive sector. It will enable us to make a technological inovation and open a new horizon to the sector.” 

Avdagiç says that it is important, that the Halla Group invest in Turkey instead in the other competing countries in the Balkans and in Europe. 

President Avdagiç says:’’ The most important feature of this investment is that it is not only for the Turkey market; it is export oriented. That will save money in Turkey, it is an investment that will create jobs.’’ 

Avdagiç says that he is very happy about the decision of the investment of Halla Group.
